Since our inception in May 2023, UniMent has dedicated itself to advancing our mission with unwavering zeal. Our initiatives have grown to encompass a diverse range of programs including a year-round Saturday Art Camp, Online Tutoring, a Monthly Tennis Social, and a Beauty Camp. Our success is greatly attributed to the generous contributions of our volunteers and partner organizations, who infuse their distinct expertise and resources into our efforts. Their support is pivotal in our mission to enrich lives and create memorable experiences for those we serve.

OUR STORY
In Fullerton, California, a family led by a determined mother embarked on a heartfelt mission to create Uniment, a nonprofit born from the desire to offer her daughter, born with developmental disabilities, opportunities to connect with typical peers. Faced with limited options in traditional settings, they envisioned a place where children of all abilities could come together to learn, play, and grow.
The catalyst for Uniment's innovative tutoring program was the family’s 11-year-old son, inspired by the challenges his sister faced. He envisioned a space where differences were not just accepted but celebrated, leading to the creation of a program that paired children with special needs with their typical peers in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Uniment quickly evolved into more than just a tutoring service; it became a community where children found friendship, parents found support, and volunteers discovered the joy of making a difference. This initiative showcased the power of love, compassion, and the belief that every child deserves a chance to thrive alongside their peers.
Today, Uniment stands as a beacon of hope and inclusivity, a testament to what a family's love and determination can achieve in the face of challenges. It is a reminder that within every community, there is the potential to create spaces where everyone belongs and has the opportunity to shine.
